By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going--Hebrews 11:8
In the old testament, the individual’s relationship to God was revealed in the separation. This can be seen in Abraham’s life away from his native land and family. Today, the “separation” focuses on the meaning of mind and morality. If our beloved has no personal relationship with God, we see things differently. Jesus Christ also emphasized this point.
If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple. ---Luck 14:26
Faith is the one who never knows where he is going, but knows and loves the one who leads the way. Our life is the life of the faith, not the life of the reason, because we know who calls us “go”. The root of the faith is to know God. But one of the biggest pitfalls is that God can lead us to achieve success.
The final stage of the confidence life is the completion of character. Many of the changes in personality are transient. While Praying, we feel God’s blessing around us; It does change at that time. Then when we return to our daily life, we return to ourselves, and the glory is gone. The life of the faith is not a life of rising wings, but of walking on the ground and not being decadent. This is not a question of sanctification; it is further than the sanctification; it is tried and proved to pass. Abraham is not a sample of the sanctification, but the model of the life of faith. His faith was tested and founded on the true God, because he believed the Lord.
Dear God, may this day be filled glory with your presence and blessings. May we see that you make the place where you stand an honor.
