The Faith in Christ

 “By faith Abraham obeyed, when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance, and he went out, not knowing where he was going. “Hebrews 11:8

The scripture of the new statement of the Holy Bible explain the Faith’s meaning that now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and evidence of things not seen. From the above scripture, we saw that Abraham obeyed the Lord’s calling by his faith. Even he couldn’t see the land he would possess, but he still went out, not knowing where he would go. With his faith, he followed the Lord without any thought. As we know, the Holy Bible has many same samples to show their faith in Christ.

A true Christian must love the Lord, but the degree of the love differs. The key is that whether exist selfishness in our heart. Jesus said:” Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. whoever finds his life will lost it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” Matthew 10:37-39

 God’s eternal plan and purpose for salvation is wonderful and unfathomable. No matter how the world and the men’s hearts change and fall, God’s faithfulness and love never change. At every critical time, God chooses a group of people who will be obedient and faithful to walk with him to carry out his will. The Holy Bible book records many people following the Lord’s calling to finish the Lord will.

Since I become a Christian, God has been doing many great things in my life. I desire that I can become a devout Christian like other sisters of our church. They are my sample I learn. However, I don’t know how to feel the Lord’s calling to perform his will. Dear God, though the path of obedience called by the Lord is hard, from many history witnesses, the path you give is a blessed one. May we cherish the calling of every stage…?
