#Rational Critical optimist （傻人傻乐焉知福祸）
New ideas do not that easily manage to take hold. Have you also been ostracized and bitterly attacked by for suggesting some new ideas and non traditional mode of thinking? Have you ever faced fully hostility toward? It is not saying the older the tradition, the less valuable it is. By author Vincent Ruggiero, “An ancient tradition may be more sensible than the latest vogue idea”. We should not bias on the age, but give fair and impartial considerations.
Ironically, one day you probably become the exact one you were contradicted. We thought we would remember the resistance we had overcome, how hard we fought for new things.
In fact, this feeling are forgotten very quickly.
We many times display the same fear and insecurity, as we deplored in those outmoded obstinate people and conservatives.
After our ideas more generally accepted, we might show no greater tolerance, and would probably do much the same to those new challengers.
So, against our instinctual drives, be no fear of rebuke and ostracism by those dogmatists, especially those possibly future us, adjust and monitor our reactions.
It is not surprisingly we strongly favor or oppose a new idea when first time encounter it. But, refuse to endorse the first impression uncritically, suspend judgement until they are proved insightful and well substantiated.
