Clouds and thick darkness

“Clouds and thick darkness are all round him.” Psalms 97:2

Non-Christians often tell us that Jesus’s lessons are simple. Once we are baptized to become a true Christian, we will find that “Clouds and thick darkness are all round him.” We will suddenly be enlightened after we experience Jesus’s lessons. Because we become a Christian, God grants his spirit to our hearts. The only way of understanding Jesus’s rules is that the Holy spirit is working around in our hearts. We must throw away the past thoughts about the religion to adjust our attitude and stand before the Lord with our whole hearts. Those who are hasty, impetuous have never known Christ Jesus. After we understand all great wonderful things Jesus does, we will experience the impenetrable darkness due to knowing Jesus. 

Jesus said: “The words I say to you is the spirit and life.” We often think that the Holy Bible book only is a lot of words, like clouds and thick darkness let us understand hardly. Why does Jesus say that those words are the spirit and life? God repeats those words to us again through some special environments, so we should know that God says to us through the scriptures instead of any dream. The Holy bible also mentions that men come before God, which means men should hear his words and follow his will by reading the Holy bible book.

Last Friday, our pastor gave everyone a book. I love the book very much. Every page not only has a scripture, but also the attached other contents tell readers some meanings how to understand the scripture. To understand God’s words and improve my English level, I will simply translate the contents according to the book and add some my understandings as my daily writing task. I will try my best to update my writing in the Jian Shu website before going to bed in the evening. I also pray for the task every day, which is very important for me, for I don’t want to return to the past self filling with complaints and negative attitude. I desire that God can open my heart to understand his words more and lead me to finish all working perfectly. Let me understand how God call me to do other important things.

In Our church, there are many devout Christians and they are my good samples I should learn. No doubt, God loves us and He will give us the best blessing as soon as we walk on the way to Christ. So, I look forward to seeing the better self of the future through God’s grace.
