表达一：break up: 分手

if a marriage, group of people, or relationship breaks up, the people in it separate and do not live or work together any more

 

break up 各种释义都有“碎、裂”之意，关系（relationship）碎了，也就分了手。

例句：

The couple broke up last year.

常用短语结构：break up with sb.与某人分手

表达二: fool around: 胡搞；乱搞

To have a secret relationship with someone who is not your regular partner

 

two-time 脚踏两只船; two-timer: 脚踏两只船的人；出轨的人 ；

英语里你说某人被绿了千万不能说sb is green; sb is green 一般都是说某人没有经验，比如东北话“他太嫩了”可以说“he is pretty green”; green hand: 新手 菜鸟

例句：

Mr. L might be a two-timer. （谁呀？）

He doesn’t know Claire has been two-timing him.
