How to Make Gel Balls

Making gel balls is fun.You will need seaweed extract powder,calcium lactate powder,water,edible pigment,two glasses,and a spoon.

First,pour water into glass 1.

Second, stir in a color of edible pigment until it is blended with the water.

Then,mix some seaweed extract powder into the solution until thick and sticky.

Next, pour water into glass 2 and stir in some calcium lactate powder until dissolved.

Afterward,spoon out some solution from glass 1 and dip the spoon into the liquid of glass 2 for 5-10 seconds.The solution in the spoon will become a soft gel ball.Keep the gel ball in the liquid of calcium lactate for 5-10 minutes without spoon.Meanwhile,make another gel ball.

Finally,take some gel balls out.They are firmer now.

Now,you will have fun with them.

写这篇真是费了老劲儿了，让娃自己选主题，没想到选了一个这么复杂的，写的是在学校科学课上做的一个小实验。

前面两篇发在简书上，给娃看：“哇，有一百多人都看到你写的作文了呀！还有还好多人点赞了，还被好几个栏目收入了。”

娃眼睛亮晶晶的，突然问我：“咱们下篇写什么？”“读书笔记吧。”“下下篇呢？”“自编小故事。”“下下下篇呢？”......

“妈妈，我突然发现我好像挺喜欢写作的，我好期待下一篇呀。”

果然是目标愿景驱动型的娃。

这篇的第一稿完全是自己写的，自己吭哧吭哧查了好久字典，表达基本清楚，就是非常啰嗦。我们又一起吭哧吭哧改了第二稿。 娃娃开始非常有意识地进行词语辨析了，他会开始考虑用什么样的词更确切。有前面阅读打底，基本上我稍微提示一下，他就能找到一个对应的单词。比如做个搅拌的动作，能想到mix。做一个觉得很粘的感觉，能想到sticky。浸泡dip也是自己想到的。

1. 继续熟悉表序副词。

2. 词语辨析：

1) 第一稿，基本就是用put，put water into the glass, put powder into the glass......

把put改成了stir、mix、pour等能够表达具体细节的词语。

2) in和into的细微区别

3. 表达持续一段时间的时候，时间前面要加for。

4. 想要表达gel ball 开始软，后来变得更结实：soft-firm

5. 表达一段时间内同时进行什么事：meanwhile
