窃以为，美国人最大的优点不在勤奋，也不是创新。而在于美国人比较讲规矩，他们其他的优点基本都源自于此。美国人愿意花很多时间指定规则，然后规规矩矩的按指定好的游戏规则办事。远的比如美国的制宪，1787年5至9月，制宪会议在费城举行。在华盛顿的主持下，富兰克林、麦迪逊、汉密尔顿等55名代表进行了连续三个多月的闭门会议，经过反复磋商、辩论和妥协，终于拿出一部宪法供各州通过。成为美国强盛的基石。近的比如通信标准的指定。从1G，2G，3G，4G，直至5G，美国人都起到了中流砥柱的作用。这种传统在我们中国是从来都没有的。举一个简单的例子说，比如我们中国人在测试完成后，经常不写报告，即使写了，信息量也极少，一个典型的中国人的汇报是这样的：

点评：最让我痛苦的是，我不知道他当天都做了什么，fail的情况要打开附件，进行地毯式搜索才能得知。log的位置和名称也不祥。
下面是一个加拿大籍华人写的汇报，有类似的问题。
Currently the EC25-AF(Cat1) DFIT log is hogging the upload bandwidth.
QCOM input and output on AG35-NA and EC25-AF for the following log shall be unloaded to BaiduPan tomorrow.
1 AG35-NA cannot receive calls from EC25-AF.
2 It also cannot receive SMS. I sent the following SMS content:

点评：我不知道他当天都做了什么，fail看起来是很基本的功能缺失，有没有做一些排查？比如是否SIM卡的问题？主叫方听到了什么？短信是否有延时？
我们再看一个老美写的报告，人家不但每天写，而且每份报告的信息量足足抵我们的5倍之多。

Received Fedex package (new antennae and rf cables)
Worked with Manny (Arclightwireless) and reworked the DUT per Jedy instructions
We were not able to open one of the DUTs –screw was over-torqued and stripped. Also, due to the nature of the screws being recessed, we were not able to use a larger Philips bit. This DUT was left as is
Ran into issues getting SIM card registered on the Verizon network
Worked with Jedy to resolve.
8/12/2019 testing was performed using TechM SIM card.
Test Status – All Mixed coverage testing executed
TC2.1.1 MT Good Coverage – PASS [+1] Reference device had one call go to voicemail. DUT performance 100%

Update 8/14/2019: second round of troubleshooting with Jedy and team. Found root cause and workaround – need to set the following via AT command: at+qcfg="ltesms/format",x – where x is 1 or 0

后记：如果我们愿意做一辈子的苦力，大可不必在意自己的汇报，但凡有一点追求的人，做好汇报工作和做事本事是同样重要的。
