“And he lay down and slept under a tree. And behold, an angel touched him and said to him,‘Arise and eat’ ”——1Kings19:5
The angel didn’t give Elijah vision, didn’t explain the Holy bible to him and also didn’t do any special things. He only told Elijah to do a simple thing— “Arise and eat.” If you never feel depression, that is not people who have actually lived. Only dead people don’t have the depression. Everyone has anguish and depression. Otherwise, people don’t have any elation. Something will push people to trough, such as things about death. If you evaluate yourself, don’t forget that the depression also must be included.
When the spirit of God comes, which isn’t to give you a good vision, but He only tell you to do the most common thing. Depression often let you abandon the common thing God creates, but God comes, he will move people to do the simplest thing. You may think that God ignores the things, but you can find the Lord there. The touching of God comes to you, which will become a strong power to overcome depression. However, you must go ahead according to God’s touching. Otherwise, if you do something deliberately to defeat depression, in this way, the things will become worse. If you follow God’s will to do all things, depression will disappear. Then you will arise and follow God’s will to live. At that time, you will experience the highest state of life.
