Almighty salvation

I am with you to save you. (Jeremiah1:8)

God promised Jeremiah to save him himself. “And take their own lives for a prey.” Which is God’s promise to his children. God will protect us wherever he sends us. Personal belongings are of no importance, and we must be open to them. Otherwise, there will be shock, sadness and pain. This is the salvation under the shadow of almighty power.

The sermon on the mount says, “If we are sent by the Lord Jesus, we have not time to get something for ourselves. What Jesus meant was, “don’t care if someone is fair to you.” The pursuit of justice indicates that people deviate from their loyalty to the Lord. Do not expect to find justice in this world, but do it continually. All we need to do is love the Lord, and we won’t care what happens to us, fair or unjust.

Jesus said, “if a man is constant in doing his word, he will keep him safe. If a man will defect himself, he has no part in his salvation.” Some godly and zealous men are as unbelievers in this matter. They do not trust in God; they exalt reason; they hang on God’s name. Indeed, we often rely on our own understanding and not on God alone.

Dear God, I know your blessings and praise you, and it is that indescribable touch and power that I, your servant, seek. —I don’t know what I seek, but you know. How I long for you.
