韩美林

艺术大师“韩美林”，1936年生于中国山东济南。1955年考入中央美术学院(后更名为中央工艺美院)。现为全国政协常委、清华大学学术委员会副主任、清华大学教授、博士生导师、中央文史馆馆员。

韩美林是一位孜孜不倦的艺术实践者和开拓者。创作涉及广泛，包括绘画、书法、雕塑、陶瓷、设计及写作等。艺术风格独到，致力于从中国传统文化和大众艺术中汲取精髓，并转化为体现当代审美理念的艺术作品。

The master of art “Han Meilin” was born in Jinan, Shandong, China in 1936.  In 1955, he was admitted to the Central Academy of Fine Arts (later renamed the Central Academy of Fine Arts).  He is currently a member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, deputy director of the Academic Committee of Tsinghua University, professor of Tsinghua University, doctoral tutor, and librarian of the Central Literature and History Museum.

Han Meilin is a tireless art practitioner and pioneer.  His work spans a wide range of subjects including painting, calligraphy, sculpture, ceramics, design and writing.  The unique artistic style is dedicated to extracting the essence from Chinese traditional culture and popular art, and transforming it into a works of art that embody contemporary aesthetic concepts.

荆州关公义园，拥有由艺术大师韩美林先生设计，全球体量最大的关公青铜雕像。关公青铜像高68米，重1200余吨，外贴4000片青铜片，平均每块重量150KG。目前荆州关公义园已成为全球华人、华侨朝拜关公的中心。

Jingzhou GuanGong yi Garden has the bronze statue of Guan Gong, The three kingdoms of Jingchu culture, "Guan Yu"，which is designed by the art master Han Meilin and the largest in the world.  The Guan Gong bronze statue is 68 meters high and weighs more than 1200 tons. It is affixed with 4,000 pieces of bronze pieces, with an average weight of 150KG per piece.
