人之初，

性本善。

性相近，

习相远。 

Human at birth,

Being of worth.

Their parallel natures，

Vary on nurturance.

With no education,

There'd be deviation.

To well educate,

You should concentrate.

赵彦春教授的翻译神作版本，三词对译《三字经》可谓无人能出其右，对于这一最佳模式，仅做微调：以Human弱化性别；parallel强化近似性非完全对等；复数natures之后以nurturance押韵；以deviation弱化贬义，茹毛饮血未必就变坏；以educate 与concentrate押韵同时纳入教与学。

昔孟母，

择邻处，

No jade crude, Shows craft good. Unless you learn, Brute you'll turn. As an offspring, 规避性别男性化 You are fledgling. Teacher or peer, Hold them dear.

Thoughts on a Tranquil Night

Ere my bed moonlights coat,

like rime on the ground.

head down, homesick I'm found!  借鉴许景城教授2017版本，押韵格式采用ABAB

独在异乡为异客，每逢佳节倍思亲。

Companionless and asunder from home, a lonesome soul that I am, alas

On every festival occasions,  I miss all the more my kinfolks.

不识庐山真面目，只缘身在此山中。

We failed to grasp the grand picture of things,

A curvy maiden with grace is, A decent man's dream choice.

但愿人长久，千里共婵娟。

May true lovers' knot prolong and sustain, 

With La Luna as the celestial go-between.

青青子衿，悠悠我心。

O my love with thy attire azure, 

My longings are ceaseless for you. 

注：此处笔者理解"衿"可不限于衣领, 且blue collar容易与其现代意义产生理解误差,故选用attire。
