1.一般过去将来时
In the end, they would succeed./ I knew you would agree.
2.过去将来进行时以及过去将来完成时
I thought you would be sleeping.
Tom knew by the time he arrived Rose would have gone home.
3.“从过去观点看未来”的一些其它表达法
was(were) going to - I thought it was going to rain.
was(were) about to - I was just about to go bed when I heard a knock on the door.
was(were) due to - The talk was due to meet again that afternoon.
was(were) on the point of - When he was on the point of winning, he stumbled and fell.
was(were) + to do (本来打算做某事) We were to have been married last year.
