It is funny that at this point I kind of shattered almost everything that I ever believed about fate. My whole belief system was torn down. I can not keep telling myself that I will not become extraodinary because I was not born in rich or whatever happend in the past as excuses. The books I read about successful people, they all illustrates that mediocre life only becomes the eternal result when we choose it by force, when we are refusing to listen to our inner desires.
Barack's story of running for presidency is inspiring enough to let me rebuild my belief system, the one without fear, quitting or distrust. Most of them who made success by themselves share a lot in common. They have this "I'll do it myself" commitment, meaning no complaint on anyone else. I do not think Michelle was born for a first lady or talented enough to run the campaign with Barack. But she was dedicated for the family and supportive for the greater good. Maybe a support system is not supposed to be something that brings us good fortune or pushes us to be a better version, instead, it will be fair only not becoming the resistance or pullback, so that we could follow our own path and make efforts at whatever cost.
The stages, the speeches, hugs, applauses, flying all over the country, meeting with all kinds of groups, everything that Michelle experienced during Barack's campaign was exactly what numerous people in the world has been yearning for. That was luck, but with tons of repect from the world.
After they had two daughters, Michelle and Barack showed quite different approach in their professional path. Sometimes I wondered, the magic of having children actually makes men more ambitious in career, while makes women more fulfilled in life easily. Even those full time working moms will not think about being some No.1 in a specific domain, life is completed by their children, so what else to be expected out there? I hope, in the future, this dangerous move could be considered objectively by more intelligent women regarding the biological side effects. Wisdom is all about being rational.
