Once there was a gorilla, and everybody loved him.
从前有一只小猩猩，大家都很爱他。
His mother loved him.
他的妈妈爱他。
His father loved him.
他的爸爸爱他。
His grandma and grandpa, and his aunts and his uncles loved him.
他的爷爷奶奶，还有叔叔阿姨也爱他。
Even when he was only one day old, everyone loved Little Gorilla.
虽然小猩猩才出生一天，大家就都已经爱上他了。
Pink Butterfly flying through the forest,
飞过树林的粉红色蝴蝶，
Green Parrot in his tree,
停在枝头的绿色鹦鹉，
and Red Monkey in her tree,
还有坐在树上的红色猴子，
All loved Little Gorilla.
每个都爱小猩猩。
Even Big Boa Constrictor thought Little Gorilla was nice.
连大蟒蛇都觉得小猩猩很可爱。
Giraffe, walking tall through the forest,
was there when Little Gorilla needed him.
小猩猩需要帮忙的时候，
高个儿长颈鹿马上穿过树林赶过来。
Young Elephant, and Old Elephant too, came to see him.
象妈妈会带着象宝宝来看他。
Even Old Hippo took him wherever he wanted to go, because she loved Little Gorilla.
河马奶奶也很疼爱小猩猩，他想去哪儿就带着他去哪儿。
Just about everybody in great green forest loved Little Gorilla!
这座大森林里所有的动物都爱小猩猩！
Then one day something happened……
后来，发生了一件大事…….
Little Gorilla began to grow
小猩猩慢慢的长大，
And Grow
长大……
and Grow
越长……
an GROW
越大。
And one day,
有一天
Little Gorilla was BIG！
小猩猩变成了大块头！
And everybody came, and everybody sang.
大家都来了，一起唱：
“Happy Birthday , Little Gorilla !’’
“祝你生日快乐！”
And everybody still loved him.
大家还是很爱很爱小猩猩。
