Subsequent vitality

“Simon Peter said to him, ‘Lord, where are you going?” Jesus answers him, ‘Where I am going you cannot follow me now, but you will follow afterwards.’” John13:36

After the Lord spoke these words, and HE said to Peter:” You follow me.”. However, before this three year, Jesus said to him:” Follow me.” At that time, Peter followed Jesus without any doubt due to strong charm of Jesus instead of the Holy spirit’s help. Afterwards, he was reduced to the status of denying the Lord. Before long, he received the Holy spirit. When Jesus called him again:” Follow me.” At the first time, Peter’s behavior to follow Jesus looked no surprise because his attitude was only apparent. At present, he responded the Lord’s calling with his whole heart.

Between the processes of denying the Lord and following the Lord again, Peter swore and denied the Lord for three times. And then he fell in no road to walk. In the plight, he received the blessing Jesus granted the Holy spirit. So, regardless of any change God did in your life, don’t rely on the change, only depend on the Lord Jesus Christ and the holy spirit God grants.

Though we have oaths and determination, we still deny the Lord finally, because we are not able to perform our previous promise. Only when we fall in the end of our life, we don’t rely on our mind again, but receive the Holy spirit God grants with our whole hearts. “Receive the Holy Spirit’ means that receive the conquering of the Holy spirit. Now in our life there is only a big dipper, who is Christ Jesus.
