Moral sovereignty

For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. ---Romans6:9-11

Enjoy eternal life. Eternal life is the life of Jesus Christ as a human being; and if we are born of God, the life manifested in this mortal body is just such life, not its copy. Eternal life is not a gift from God, but the giving of himself to us. Jesus showed us his power and authority through God’s grace when we make moral judgments about sin.

“When the holy spirit comes upon you, you will receive power.”—The power is not a gift from the spirit, but the spirit itself. In other words, it’s not something given by the holy spirit. Once we have accepted his death, we can see the life of Jesus through the cross. If we think it is difficult to reconcile with God, it must be because we have not decided on sin. As soon as a decision is made, God’s abundant life comes in. Jesus came to supply eternal life.

“You may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Eternal life has nothing to do with time. Eternal life is the life of Jesus on earth. The only source of life is the Lord Jesus Christ. Even the weakest believer can experience the power of God’s son if he “lets go.” Any remnant of our old self’s power would have hindered Jesus’ life. Let go slowly and let the flood of God’s life flow into every part of us so that people will recognize us as disciples of Jesus.
