Everyone can draw, but not everyone can be a real artist. I am not an artist, but I love drawing things even it doesn’t make any sense.
Recently, I am interested in mandala which is a complex abstract design. However, I don’t like complex things, and my drawing skill is like beginner. I learned some simple ways to create your own mandala art. It is very simple. The main point is to follow your heart, and to find your inner child which makes you feel happy.
The main form of mandala is circle. Just follow my heart, I draw a big circle in the middle, and follow by some flower shape, then draw a big “circle” around the flower. When I was filling in the color, I just randomly pick some color. No pressure, just relax.
The second one is square. I add “A”, “B”, “C”, “D” in the square and draw some random lines around it. You can put your name or any words inside the creative square.
Another “Sun” Square. Draw a sun in the middle, and put your favorite signs in each sun root, then square around the sun. You can fill in any color you want. For example, I made a dark moon, red star, grey flower which is absolutely anti-natural. So what?
Cat mandala probably is the most “real” one. The first three drawings may not have any clue, but this one, you can see something in the circle. You can put flower, fun face, emotion or cartoon in the circle. I didn’t know what to put in the circle, so I put in a cute cat.
Again, don’t worry if you don’t know what to draw. Just draw any thing you want, a circle with some lines will create a simple art which might surprise you.
