I want to be a hero in front of my daughter

Today when I am learning English in the Class, my English teacher asks me a question,”Why do you learn English?”.

It is a good question, and I tell my teacher, “There are two reasons for me to learn English.”

First , I want to be a Hero in front of my daughter, I have a daughter, she is so cute, I love so much.

One day, when she finished school, and we were on our way home, suddenly, she pointed a car, and asked me “Daddy, What’s this in English?”, I told her,”It’s a red car, just like your mother’s car”, she felt so good, and then she pointed another thing ,”what’s that in English?”, I replied her immediately, but ,you know, she had lots of questions, in the end, I couldn’t know how to answer these questions, because there were not enough words in my mind.

At last, my daughter couldn’t listen my answers, she looked at me hopefully, and then, I told her “honey, I don’t know, cause I am not good at English.”, and then she felt a little disappointed. Oh my God! Her expression had stung me.

You know , In you children opinion, as a father, you must be a hero for them, you should be knowing everything.

So , from then on, I decided to learning English, cause I want to be a hero in front of my daughter, at the same time, I want to be a teacher in front of my daughter, I want to be a good example in front of my daughter.

That’s my the first reason that I must learn English, and it is the most important reason. My daughter is my motivation to study English.

The second, I want to see the world and do international trade.

There is an interesting story about me.

One day, we were in a long line in order to have lunch, and there were two colleagues in front of me, one was Chinese and the other was foreigner, they were talking something and then they were laughing, you know, I didn’t want to make me embarrass, so, when they were laughing, and I was laughing too, and maybe my acting was awful, suddenly, the foreigner turned his head and looked at me so strangely. Although, he didn’t say anything, I had knew his meaning, TMD! 他就是欺负老子不懂英语！ Oh, holly shit! The key was that I didn’t know English, He had guessed it right, MD, What a clever guy!

The event has impressed me deeply!

This is another motivation for me to learn English!

Actually, Learning a Language, it is a meaningful thing, if you can speak English, you have a chance to know the world, you can make lots of friends, you can learn lots of different culture and knowledge.

English is the key to the colourful world.
