Christopher Gardner: Hey. Don't ever let somebody tell you... You can't do something. Not even me. All right?

Christopher: All right.

Christopher Gardner: You got a dream... You gotta protect it. People can't do somethin' themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want somethin', go get it.

Christopher Gardner：永远不要相信任何人对你说，你做不成什么事。即使是我也不行，好吗？

Christopher：好的。

ChristopherGardner：如果你有一个梦想，你需要守护她。有一些人自己做不成一些事情，他们认为你也做不成。但如果你想要什么，努力去得到它。

Alfredo: Living here day by day, you think it's the center of the world. You believe nothing will ever change.

Then you leave, a year, two years. When you come back, everything's changed. The thread's broken. What you came to find isn't there. What was yours is gone.

You have to go away for a long time... many years... before you can come back and find your people, the land where you were born. But now, no, it's not possible. Right now you're blinder than I am.

Salvatore: Who said that? Gary Cooper?James Stewart? Henry Fonda? Eh?

Alfredo: No, Toto. Nobody said it. This time it's all me. Life isn't like in the movies. Life... is much harder.

Ihad always heard your entire life flashes in front of your eyes the second before you die. First of all, that one second isn't a second at all, it stretches on forever, like an ocean of time...

Forme, it was lying on my back at Boy Scout camp, watching falling stars... And yellow leaves, from the maple trees,that lined our street... Or my grandmother's hands, and the way her skin seemed like paper... And the first time I saw my cousin Tony's brand new Firebird...And Janie...  And... Carolyn.

Iguess I could be pretty pissed off about what happened to me... but it's hard to stay mad, when there's so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I'm seeing it all at once, and it's too much, my heart fills up like a balloon that's about to burst...

Andthen I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life...

Youhave no idea what I'm talking about,I'm sure. But don't worry... you will someday.

经常听说人死的前一秒，整个人生会在眼前浮现。首先，那根本就不是一秒钟，它像时间的海洋一样无限的延长…

对于我来说，是躺在童子军营地看流星的男孩，黄色的叶子从枫树上飘落到门前的街道，看起来像纸一样的奶奶的手，第一次看到表兄托尼的崭新火鸟跑车，还有珍妮，凯若琳…

我想我应该对自己即将死去的事实感到生气，但是在一样充满美妙的世界中保持生气是一件非常难的事情。有时候我感觉一下子看到了以往的一切，充盈在我心中的事物如此之多，让我感觉心脏要像气球一样炸裂

然后，我让自己放松，不再试着留住所有的一切，往事就像大雨一样倾泻下来，除了感激我平庸微不足道的人生的每一刻外，我再也没有任何感觉

我知道你听不懂我在说什么，但是，不用担心，总有一天你会理解

五 跳出我天地 Billy Elliot

Billy: I think I'm scared, Dad.

Jackie Elliot: That's okay, son. We're all scared.

Billy: Well... if I don't like it, can I still come back?

Jackie Elliot: Are you kidding? We've letout your room.

[straight face then laughter]

Billy：爸爸，我有点害怕

Jackie：没关系，我们也很担心

Billy：那…如果我不喜欢那里，我还能回来吗？

Jackie：开什么玩笑？我们已经把你的房间租出去了

[板着的脸笑开了花]

Billy: Don't know. Sorta feels good. Sorta stiff and that, but once I get going... then I like, forget everything. And...sorta disappear. Sorta disappear. Like I feel a change in my whole body. And I've got this fire in my body. I'm just there. Flyin' ike a bird. Like electricity. Yeah, like electricity.

Tutor：你跳舞的时候，是什么样的感觉？

Billy：不太清楚。感觉有点好，又有点僵硬，一旦开始起舞，我像是忘记了一切，像是消失了一样。我感觉整个身体都发生了变化，心中好像有一团火，我在那里，像鸟一样飞翔。像电流，对的，像电流一样自由。
