262、英语小故事（英汉对照）“抓住我的手”

A little girl and her father went over a bridge. Her father was worried about her. Consequently（所以） , he said to his daughter, “Hold my hand, so you would not drop into the river.”

一个小女孩和她的爸爸准备过桥。爸爸担心女儿会从桥上掉下去，就对她说：“抓着我的手，这样你就不会掉进河里了。”

“No, Dad, you should hold my hand,” the little girl said to her father. “Is there any difference?” her father asked with puzzle .

“不，爸爸，应该是你抓住我的手。”小女孩对爸爸说。“有什么不同吗？”爸爸不解地问。

“There is a great difference in it,” the little girl responded to her father. “If I held our hands and something happened to me, for instance, I walked unsteadily and dropped down the river, I might not hold our hands and let go our hands. However, no matter what happened, you would not let me drop into the river if you hold my hand.”

“非常不同。”小女孩回答道，“如果我抓着你的手，那么发生意外的时候，比如我没走稳掉下了河，我可能就会松手了。可是如果是你抓着我的手，无论如何，你都不会让我掉进河里。”

爱就是在危急时刻绝不松开的手。
