In my career, I met some leaders with different character. From their behaviors, let me learn more positive energy. Today, I’d like to share with you a story about a respected manager from the present company.

Before I joined the present company, I worked in a Japanese company for several years. In 2012, I was honored to join the present company as a quality supervisor. There has different corporate culture between Japanese company and American company. When I worked in the previous Japanese company, everything was required very strict, more sadly, the company lacked humanistic care to employees. And the relationship between the leader or subordinates existed a chasm spanned hardly. For example, there was a QA senior director in the previous company. When I met him on the other places, if I gave him a greeting as politeness, he seldom gave me a response. After I experienced several same awkwardness, I hardly greeted him again.

After I joined the present company, for those senior managers, I also kept on the past habits. I thought they had a higher position and even more managers were from Hongkong and other countries. They should not pay more attention to me. However, one day of the first week I worked here, when I finished my work, the general manager came to my seat to ask me about my new work. I knew the general manager, because he interviewed me. and I heard that he graduated from Qinghua university. As a general clerk, I always thought that the general manager didn’t have any relationship with me, but his care let me change my past prejudice to the senor leaders. From my observation, his concern was not just directed at me. Even if my QC girls met him and gave him a greeting, he certainly replied a same response. In the following working, he also invited me and my colleagues to have dinner together to celebrate my probation passed… In our company, all colleagues always give him many high comments.

From the general manager, let me know how to love my subordinates and deal with the colleagues' relationship. In our company, the humanism spirit has been emphasizing. So, almost all senior managers and colleagues have a positive attitude to maintain a positive relationship with all people.

I have been working here for more than seven years. Their positive attitude always influences my behaviors…I love my present company and also prefer to work with my colleagues. In order to work here for longer time, I must learn hard more knowledge including improving my English level and other quality management skills. Keeping growing with the company together is my great desire.
