The secret of club activity

In Harbin spring conference, I took a role like table master in Round Table Session. This session is a brainstorming. Every discussion group have a table master,  a visual recorder and have a topic to discussed. The table master should leads the participants to complete the discussion, the visual recorder should completes the visual record.

The topic in our group is club operation. And almost all participants posed a difficult problem. Club Activity! Most club will run into the problem like this when they operate for about 2 years. Officials are trying to run the club, but members are rarely participate in. Like a couple in life, the left hand and the right hand.

In round table session, 90% participants is club officer or district officer, they give us so many idea about how to make a club activity. Now, I will deliver three of them to everyone:

First of all, help members to establish learning objectives and promote the growth of members.

The learning environment here is loose, relax and self-motivated. Members encourage each other and help members build confidence. Many members are attracted by this relaxed environment, and the goal is less clear. After studying for a period of time, when there is no output environment in the short term, it is easy to lose the motivation of learning. Therefore, when members join, we should guide them to establish learning goals and promote the growth of members. This point like a couple, when they get married, setting a goal to make life better and better.

Secondly, establish the mentor system to accompany members to grow. The mentor is a role model, a private individual evaluator，a coach, and a confidant. Please keep your eager to learn, open to new ideas and grateful. If you walk alone, you can really fast, but if you walk with many people, you can go further.（独行快，众行远）

Third, maintain a high quality meeting, more fun, more material, more love. Learning is a boring thing, but if you can find the fun in learning, it is no longer so difficult. Like outing, sharing, variety of meetings.

And all of them can make members feel more attached. That is the secret of club activity.
