If someone asks me about the most important invention in the past 100 years, I first think is computer.

With time, computer is more popular to people’s life. I completely can’t imagine what can do we do if there are not computer during the life. Nowadays, it is more convenient for people because of the prevalence of fast computers and speedy networks. The following is only shown few examples I know.

First, some stunts of films are designed by the computer programmers. It is very difficult to finish the stunts without the computers. Besides, the shells of the cars we drive and the appliances we use are designed by 3D software. Usually, after the programmers finish the images through the computers, submit the pictures to suppliers who produce molds.

In the other hand, we can use the computers with speedy networks to browse webpages, watch movies, shopping and search the materials we need. These materials are put into the computer servers and automatically shown as soon as we search. We can refer for the information searched to serve for our working and learning.

In our company, the ubiquity of computers brings us paperless offices. In the production line, nearly each operator owns a computer to read the work instructions instead of papers instructions; meanwhile, all operators must pass the products finished into next station through the MES system. This means that system results are with the actual products statues. In any time, all managers can learn whether the production processes are smooth no matter they stay at the home, the meeting rooms and the offices. For me, when I leave for long holidays, I like to bring my computer so that I can take a few times to deal with some urgent working if necessary.

In addition, computer technology not only was applied to the field of spaceflight and industry, but also was applied to the diagnosis, traffic and many other areas. The 21st century is an era of knowledge and information. Personal computers are necessary in the common learning, working, and living as well.
