饿瘦了的，“拉麻桑

在黄昏的衣被中爬去，

我又独立在陶人屋中，

环绕着一些土盂。

As under cover of departing Day

Slunk hunger-stricken Ramazán away,

Once more within the Potter's house alone

I stood, surrounded by the Shapes of Clay.

[注释]拉麻桑（Ramazán）：回教之九月。此月凡信徒皆清斋断食。此句言九月已去之意。

自此节以下关于土瓶数节，在第一版中别为一组，名 "Knuza Nameh" 。陶人制器的喻言，西洋文字中多见，请参看《新约·罗马书》第九章第二十一节。
