The gospel music

From my point of view, it was relaxing for me to listen to the music. When I went jogging, I liked to wear headphones to listen to music, it was a kind of enjoyment for me in the past. We know, everything is limited, but music is infinite. Sometimes, when language can’t express our emotions, the music can help us to find the empathy.

When I was a student, I liked to listen the popular music including the songs of YangYuying, GaoshengMei and MaoLing. Though I was not good at singing any song, listening to the music was one of my favorite things after finishing my homework.

With age, at the different stage, I have some different choice in the music. For example, after I became a Christian last year, my song lists are almost the gospel music. Before the pastor preaches every time, we often have thirty minutes to sing the gospel song to praise the Lord. In the past, while listening to English version gospel music, I couldn’t feel the emotion of the gospel music. Every time I just only sung them with all Christians together. Now, so long as I enter the church, hearing the gospel music, my heart hold a special reverence for the Lord. The gospel music reminds of me the Lord’s greatness, power and mercy.

God loves us and offers a wonderful plan for our lives. As the scripture of the Holy Bible book said：

Romans 3:13: “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

John 3:16: “God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” How merciful Jesus is！

In the old testament times, when the Lord arranged somebody to do some important things, his holy spirt only descended the man, such as Moses, Solomon... However, in the new testament times, so long as the people, who believe the gospel, can be granted the Holy spirt by the Lord. After I became a Christian, many things are changing toward positive attitude. Thanks for God’s grace to me.

In my life, nothing can’t be more wonderful than I receive Christ. Christ’s love let me have the peace and give me more energy to face all difficulties. When I feel tied, I fall down to pray before the lord. Everything become smooth.

For today’s topic, I know non-Christian can’t understand my feeling. But the promise of God’s word, the Bible- not our feelings- is our authority. The Christian lives by faith in the trustworthiness of God Himself and His word. In my life, I need Jesus. I am happy to open the door of my life to receive Him as my Savior and Lord. He not only gives me eternal life, but he always controls of the throne of my life. I pray for making me the kind of person God wants me to be. Amen.
