“If I proclaim the gospel, this gives me no ground for boasting, for an obligation is laid on me. and woe to me if I do not proclaim the gospel!” 1Corinthians9:16
We can’t turn a deaf ear to God’s calling. Everyone, who has been saved by God, will be called to give a witness for God. But that is not a calling to preach gospel, that is just only some samples during proclaiming the gospel. Paul pointed that the stress existed in his heart when God urged him to proclaim the gospel. But, don’t mix Paul’s words above, God’s calling to proclaim the gospel and taking people saved by the God. The salvation is the easiest thing, because this is God’s work. The Lord doesn’t set the condition to become disciples as the condition to be saved. Through Jesus’s cross, we will obtain the salvation from criminating, but we must have filter as a disciple.
Paul said that we have been Christ Jesus’s servants, no matter how he requires us to do anything, He needn’t ask our permissions. We have become the loaves God broke, the wine God poured out, and the purpose is that let God happy. If we are separated for the gospel, it means that we can hear God’s calling. When we hear God’s calling, the Lord pain follow us. Suddenly, all desire stopped and all dreams and expectation will be disappear. Only one thing was left that we will be separated for God’s gospel. So long as the calling is coming, if we still focus on our own thoughts to make the decision for our future, we will face some bad experiences. The seminary was built for us, and let us see whether God can get a brother or sister. If we can sacrifice our own freedom to proclaim the gospel, we also need to see whether God can clutch us. If God catch us, we need to pay more attention to the related things with God.
