一、教材分析
本单元是人教版新目标Go for it!八年级下册Unit4。整个单元的话题是人际交流(Interpersonal communication),主要围绕生活和学习中遇到的问题、压力以及给出解决的建议等展开学习,鼓励学生要勇敢面对挑战,并能正确的解决所遇到的一系列问题。
本节课是第四单元的第一课时,属于一节听说课,通过学习,学生要能掌握重点单词和一些重点句型,能够听懂Peter遇到的烦恼,针对朋友给出的建议听出合理的理由;另外,要会知识迁移,谈论自己所遇到的问题与烦恼,并能运用目标语言给出合理的解决建议,从而培养学生正确解决问题的能力以及团队合作学习能力。
二、学情分析
八年级学生已经具备了一定的英语基础,但根据学生的差异和性格特点,我在教学中设计了多种不同难易程度的听、说活动,鼓励学生通过观察—模仿—体验—探究—展示等学习方式,营造轻松、愉快的学习氛围,尽可能多地让学生参与课堂,充分地操练和展示,训练学生“用英语做事情的能力”,是他们具有正确的价值观,并引导他们学会自主学习和合作学习。
三、教学目标
Knowledge aims:
1) To master the keywords:allow,wrong; 2) Be able to use the structrues:
① —What’s wrong? —I’m really tired because I studied until midnight last night. ② You could /should ....③ Why don’t you /not talk to your parents about it?
2.Abiliy aims:
1)Can be able to practice listening and speaking abilities;
2)Be able to talk about the problems and give advice.
3.Emotional aims:
Be able to solve the problems and overcome difficulties in life.
四、教学重难点
Teaching important focus: Learn some ways of giving advice.
Teaching difficult focus: Ss can talk about their own problems and give suggestions each other by using the structures.

Step1. Lead in
Play an English song《Trouble is a friend》.
Ss listen to it and sing along with.

Step2.Free talk

Ss share their troubles one after the other.
(设计切合实际的话题,学生自由谈论自己生活与学习中的烦恼,为后面的学习做好铺垫。)
Step3.New concepts

2.Ss can predict Peter’s idea,then listen and check if they are right.

(呈现对话范例,输入目标语言,引导学生模仿运用并操练,学以致用。
在听力训练前引导学生预测,再进行听力训练,听得效果会更有效,同时学习should/could提建议句的型,即重点。同时拓展更多提建议的句型。)

Groupwork:
Discuss with your teammates .
(巩固拓展训练,运用本节课所学句型谈论自己的问题并给出合理的建议,检测输出,突破难点。)
