The vision and the darkness

“As the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell on Abram. And behold, dreadful and great darkness fell upon him.”-Genesis 15:12

When God grants the vision to His believers, it is time when He puts the believer in the shade of God. At that time, the believer’s duty must keep on listening to God’s will quietly. In the extremely strong light, a kind of darkness will be coming. At that moment, the believer must be all ears. From the scriptures chapter 15 of the Genesis, it gives us a show about the darkness example.

Among the darkness, people only seek for the human’s instruction instead of waiting God’s light. When God grants the vision, if next the darkness will be approaching, the believers should be waiting with patience. So long as the believers wait for God, He will give you blessing according to the vision. Don’t volunteer to help God to achieve the Lord’s will.

As we know, Abraham spent the days in silence for thirteen years. In those years, all methods couldn’t be work, so he couldn’t rely on his reason to resolve his problems. Meanwhile, it was also his practiced time instead of the bitter days. He didn’t make any joy and brave purposely, but he only insisted on depending on God.

Nowadays, do we still rely on our flesh? Or we have been out of the dependency of ourselves, God’s children, books, prayers and the emotion, but we only keep our confidence completely through God. “I am God almighty.” Genesis 17:1. The purpose of our practice is that believing God is true. Once we see the God is true, other people will become the shade. No matter what other believers say and do, it never influences one person who was based on the God.
