June is the season for harvest, as well as for departure.
June 2017In this semester, I have studied communication principles, electromagnetic fields, digital circuit logic design and other specialized courses, and done many experiments in the laboratory. Our teachers are very intelligent and kind. Whenever we are confused in class, they will answer questions patiently for us. I am very lucky to have a group of similar partners, without whom I might not have been able to hold on to such a heavy class. As the old saying goes, “No pains, no gains.” A man who wants to be triumphant must have a strong will, be confident, be diligent. We did that and most of we have achieved good results in cet-4 exam and final exam this month. Although nothing’s perfect, it’s worth it. In the main time, I made my life more meaningful by developing good small habits. Such as eating healthy breakfast, doing exercise every week, reading books and taking notes, besides, I write diary every week and publish them on website. Gradually, I develop my awareness, courage and self-discipline, I feel more confident in the face of difficulties so that I can solve the problem as much as possible.
Since we are social beings, the quality of our lives depends in large measure on our interpersonal relationship. I was involved in a bad relationship last year, therefore, I was self-contempt, pessimism, and even despair. Finally, I made my mind to let go of my emotion and feelings. I think something should be changed. In this semester, I participated in some interesting activities at my campus. Like poetry recitation, English speech contest, literature salon, art exhibition and so on. Talking to peers in a gathering not only puts our communication skills to the test, it’s an eye-opening experience and a chance to make like-minded friends. What impresses me most is that I met an exchange student majoring in chemistry from America at the international culture festive this month. He is a gentleman with green eyes and charming smile, and this is his first time to visit Chain. We talked about our own national cultures and other things in English. I drew a picture with an ancient Chinese poetry selected from The Book of Songs for him as a gift, and he showed fantastic pop songs for me with his guitar. We appreciated the artistic temperament each other and became good friends soon.
June 2017The summer vacation arrived, the senior student graduated, he returned to the United States. I still remember at the end of the day, I asked him, “What do you think makes the world so beautiful? Could it be a encounter?” He said, “No, it’s departure. It is impossible to understand the joy of a meeting without a separate sorrow, and no one who has experienced pain has never really understood happiness. If you’re always happy, that also mean you’re never happy. ” Just as Su Dongpo sang in his Prelude to Water Melody,
“Men have sorrow and joy, they part or meet again;
The moon is bright or dim and she may wax or wane.
There has been nothing perfect since the olden days.
So let us wish that man
Will live long as he can!”
Now I am home and begin my next stage, I am sure though miles apart, we’ll share the beauty moon displays.
