7在Anne Lamott的书中写到，在写第一稿时，不用想很多，只要开始写，从“一只鸟到另一只鸟”，可以是关于一道菜的任何描述，或你观察到的任何东西，或是任何的情绪，神经质的感受都可以。哪怕有时对那道菜的描述可能会让餐厅的销量下降，哪怕你的朋友对你说，嘿，那只是一只鸟而已，或者那只是一道菜而已。写的时候有许多人，大人，孩子，亲戚，各种在你脑子里或者身边指指点点，各种批判。此时的做法可以是想象这些批判的声音是一只只老鼠，用手捻起一只的尾巴，扔进一个丑陋的罐子里装起来；接着拎起另一只的尾巴，也关起来。但是也不必想象一只一只的枪毙它们。因为批判的声音会影响你的创作，对完美的追求亦是。重要的是，第一稿之后你总要修改第二稿，然后才是第三稿。
第一稿是“Shit”
第二稿是“fix it up”
第三稿是“the dental draft--check every tooth, or even, God help us, healthy."
读完一段之后，有了灵感和启发，就写下下面这段，第一次用英文练笔:
I wanna love u,
like seeing a drop of sweet honey rolling in a jar,
I desperately want to open and reach it,
even if I can just use my tiny finger tip to stick just a tiny little and lick it,
but then the rational little person jump out of my mind and ask me to back off,
just like a tiny policeman,
be there, warning me, shouting to me, and never allowed me to actually take any more actions.
Then day by day, my heart was getting dryer and dryer,
until it's old enough,
until it become a dried up well,
until it cried tousands of times,
but it never gone numb as I thought would be,
It become more and more sensitive,
more and more soft,
soft like a feather droped off from a bird,
flying up high to the sky,
lonely and lonely,
lighter and lighter,
it transformed into words,
into music I heard every single day,
into the silent tears,
but I still couldn't say anything,
but let my blessings soak into the air and the ground,
then it will accompany you everywhere you went to,
though you will never know.
喜欢的事情，值得每天投入，勤奋练习。
而每天醒来第一件放不下想练习，又不会厌倦的事，一定是你喜欢的事。
