【A: Alex，pedestrian 行人】【 S: Susan，driver 司机】

A: Hey, watch out! That’s a red light, and I’m on a pedestrian crossing! 诶，小心，红灯呢，并且我在斑马线上！

S: Sorry! Are you OK?  对不起，你还好吗？

A: I’m all right, but your front wheel is on the kerb. 没事了啦，不过你的前轮在马路牙子上。

S: I’m just so tired. I’ve been stuck in a traffic jam for two hours and I didn’t get any sleep last night. 我太累啦。我昨天晚上没睡好，刚刚又在路上堵了俩小时。

A: That’s hardly my problem. And in case you didn’t know, this is a dead-end street. 这可不是我的问题。你可能还不知道这是条死胡同？

S: Whoops! I’m a bit lost. You don’t happen to know where Zhongshan Street is, do you? 哎，我迷路了。你知道中山路怎么走吗？

A: Yep. 知道。

S: So, erm, could you, erm, give me directions? 那能麻烦您给我指指路？

A: OK. Drive straight on for about 350 metres. 没问题，你首先直行350米。

S: OK. Straight on. 嗯，直行。

A: When you get to the traffic lights, take the first turning on the left and then drive straight on again. 到了有交通灯那个路口，左转然后直行。

S: Traiffic lights. First turning, erm, left.交通灯路口左转。

A: Then, after about another 200 metres and a few speed bumps, you get to a roundabout... 200米后过了减速带后，到了一个环岛。

S: A roundabout... 环岛

A: ...and you take the first turning on the right. 环岛第一个出口右转。

S: ...on the right. 右转。

A: Then, you go over a bridge and through a tunnel. Then, you turn right and then left and then right again, and it’s just there on the left. 然后过了一座桥进入一条隧道。然后转右，然后转左再转右，然后你的走手边就是了。

S: A bridge. A tunnel. Right, left, right... OK. I think I’ve got it. 一座桥，一条隧道，右、左、右。。。ok，我想我知道啦。

A: You can’t miss it! 你不能错过任何一个路口哦。

S: OK. Bye! Thanks. Right! Now, what did he say? Drive straight on, then first left... ok，谢谢，再见。嗯，他说什么来着？直行，第一个路口左转。。。

常用的句型:

1.There’s a zebra crossing just ahead.  前面有个斑马线

2.Take the first turning on the right. 第一个路口转右

3.This is a dead-end street. 只是个死胡同

4.You need to go over the bridge. 你要过一座桥

5.The rush-hour traffic is terrible.高峰期真堵 

6.We got caught in a traffic jam.我们堵上了 

7.You need to go through the tunnel. 你要过一条隧道

8.Turn right at the roundabout 在环岛右转
