“For the love of Christ urges us on, because we are convinced that one has died for all; therefore, all have died.” Corinthians 5:14
Paul said that he was governed and controlled by Christ’s love, just as the vise was vised. Few people know what the meaning that we are caught by God is, because we are often restricted by our own experiences. There was only one thing to restrict Paul that is God’s love, but not much else. “The love of Christ urges us on.” So long as we listen to the “voice”, we can know whether the disciples have the note, because the holy spirit will pass smoothly in the person’s life without any hindrance.
When we are reborn by the holy spirit, our witness should focus on what things God does for us. If we are baptized by the holy spirit, those things will become the past’s experience. We will start to know Jesus said that what the meaning of “you are my witness.” is. That is not to witness what Jesus can do, because that is the preliminary witness. As the scriptures mentioned that “…you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
We must regard all things happened to us as the things happened to God, whatever the promise, the force or the appreciation. If a person has not yet been called by God’s splendor, he can’t stand up for God, which is the most important thing. Strangely, Christ servants ignore the thing easily. Paul said that he was caught by God’s love. The love became the driving force in his life. No matter how other people comment his behaviors, he didn’t mind. He only lived for one thing that he preaches the gospel to make people to believe God’s judgement and Christ’s love. Because Paul gave up everything for Christ’s love, he can bear the fruits of the life. He remembered God’s holiness and power with his whole heart and never concerned his own holiness.
