Summary:

今天这部分主要是谈论“双赢思维”的五个维度.

It begins with character and moves toward relationships, out of which flow agreements. It is nurtured in an environment where structure and systems are based on Win/Win. And it involves process; we cannot achieve Win/Win ends with Win/Lose or Lose/Win means.

这五个维度,相互作用,缺一不可。作者很全面的将五个维度分析总结下来,非常有助于我们对“双赢思维”的深度理解,并付诸于实际,而不仅仅是停留在口口声声喊着要“双赢”,实际行为却背道而驰。

* Words and Expressions: *

e.g. Many people would choose to study abroad as a springboard for their careers.

I saw that country brought twice to its knees because the train conductors were maliciously obedient in following all the rules and procedures written on paper.

e.g. The strikes had brought the economy to its knees.

There was a lot of hoopla—excitement, cheering, applause—around the presentation of these awards.
