Seeing me off at Jingmen Mountain

I take a long journey  to the Mountain

of Jingmen and come to the Chu Kingdom，

Where hills merge with grassland. How awesome

‘Tis the Yangtze runs to far distance, roaring.

Here the flat water mirrors moon above.

Clouds of vapor form mansions and sky crown.

Oh, the dear river from my hometown

Sees me off with thousand miles of love!

Sees my boat off with thousand-mile love!
