原版英语“高级”阅读：It was clear that

“英语阅读”(“原版”、“高级”)的一个重要理念和训练目标就是：把英语“读成”英语。养成这个习惯，训练这个能力。

把英语“读成”英语就是把学过的英语“用”起来的过程，就是“英语口语”表达和运用的过程，就是英语“学以致用”，是英语“学”“用”同步的过程。

下面这段“原版英语”是用来做把英语“读成”英语训练的，不是用来做把英语“读成”中文用的：

原版英语“高级”阅读：It was clear that

一、原版英语(节选)：

After six months, it was clear that the product launch was a failure. Sales were 60% below forecastes,and very few people knew there was a new bottled water named Kristal.

按照“英语阅读”传统做法，不是把这段原版英语读成“高级”阅读：读成英语，而是“读成”中文，“英语阅读”也就失去了“英语阅读”对提高学生英语语言能力提高的意义，成了“变相”中文阅读。

二、原版英语“高级”阅读：读成英语。

After six months, it was clear that(Well,it was clear means It was obvious,or it was evident)the product launch(作为生词，允许有一次读成中文的机会：产品投放，但不允许有第二次甚至N次：A product launch means We put a new product on the market) was a failure(a failure means something or somebody failed,or was not a success,or not successful). Sales were 60% below forecastes(was 60% lower thst foreseen,or predicted),and very few people knew (means not many people knew)there was a new bottled water named(called) Kristal.

The Maketing Deparment inrvewed(When we interview or survey people,we ask them some questions about something and get their ideas or opinions) members of the public to find out what had gone wrong(to find out what was wrong).

只有这样的把英语“读成”英语，学过的英语才有机会“用”起来，有机会“复现”：用多了，学过的英语就熟练了。
