Our society is advanced by technology, and so is our individual life. As for me, I am always struggling to keep myself competent to lead a meaningful life. Life, which is composed by time, is fair to everyone as his/her own. So, what is we are talking about when we mentioning the "meaningful life?" As I see it, it means we play a good family role as well as a social role. To be good sons or daughters, good parents and spouses, to remain capable for our career life, we need to not only follow the progress of science and technology, but also compete with each other in a quicker and earlier adaptation to the fast changing society. Our life pace must keep up with the ever-quickening social paces. Leisure and peaceful rusticity may still live in our reminiscence, but surely has gone forever in the real world. Imagine what we are going to do if we lag behind or are left behind by this world. Certainly, we will become burdens of our family and the society. The things we can expect, in that case, maybe just food and approaching death, if I may say so.
