现在分词：主动进行，正在发生
过去分词：被动进行，已经完成
3. 分词的形式与意义
1. 听到这个消息，武峰老师高兴的唱起了歌 Hearing the news, Brotherfive began to sing happily.
2. 正在修订的这本书是武峰老师翻译的 The book being revised is translated by Brotherfive.
3. 没译完这本书，武峰老师就去了美国 Not having translated the book, Brotherfive went to America.
4. 他的演讲还没结束，武峰老师就急匆匆地去了教室 His speech not being over, Brotherfive hurried to the classroom
独立主格与with结构：with+n/代词+非谓
他的演讲还没结束，武峰老师就急匆匆地去了教师
With his speech not being over, Brotherfive hurried to the classroom
独立主格与there be句型：多表原因
没什么要讨论的，武峰老师赶忙去了教室 There being nothing to be discussed, Brotherfive hurried to the classroom
无there having been
4. 分词作状语，与状语从句
注意不要随意将连词加上，变为状语从句，有可能改变说话者本意。
Given another chance, i'll do it much better.
If i'm given another chance, i'll do it much better.（条件）
Not having translated the book, Brotherfive returned to America.
Although he hasn't translated the book, Brotherfive returned to America.（让步）
分词短语作结果状语
He turned off the lamp, (thereby) seeing nothing. 他熄了灯，什么也看不见了
分词短语作伴随或方式状语
Brotherfive hurried to the hall, followed by two students
Brotherfive came running into the room.
分词短语作定语，与定语从句
在修订的这本书是武峰老师翻译的
The book (which is) being revised is translated by Brotherfive.
