滞后性指标可以告诉你是否完成了目标,而引领性指标却可以教会你怎样做才能去完成目标。
滞后性指标并不能改变什么,而引领性指标在很大程度上是由你自己把握的。
举例来说,你无法控制你的车多久出现一次故障,这是一个滞后性指标,但是你绝对可以控制多久进行一次汽车保养,这就是一个引领性指标。你在引领性指标上做得越好,就越能避免汽车出现故障。
一旦制定好了最重要目标,你自然就会根据直觉去建立一个详细的计划列表,把未来几个月所有需要做的任务,以及细分的子任务都列入其中,但是,这可能并不是你真正需要马上去做的事情。
