我的英语邮件自学之路六

    上一篇提到了报价和询价,今天要来整理下还盘和接受的邮件。

    回复客人的还盘要特别小心,要本着珍视友谊和未来交易机会的态度。

    回复还盘的邮件写作常见的表达有:

    1.对发盘的还盘表示感谢

    Thank you for your prompt reply and detailed quotation.我们感谢您的及时答复和详细的报价。

    Thank you for the samples you sent in response to our enquiry of 8th June.感谢您对我方6月8日询价的答复并寄样品。

    2.对无法接受报价并说明原因

    We are sorry to tell you that we cannot take you up on the offer as the price you are asking is above the market level here for the quality in question .很遗憾的通知你方,我方不能接受贵方报价,因为贵方所要求的价格高于本地同等质量产品的市场价格水平。

    I should like to point out that your choice in color and pattern is very limited and that the shades that are now fashionable are missing .我想指出,贵方产品在颜色和样品方面选择性有限,并缺少目前流行的色调。

    3.对所希望的交易条件提出建议

    May we suggest  that you could perhaps make some allowance on your quoted prices that would help to introduce your goods on this matket .我们建议,如果贵方在所报价格的基础上给予优惠,也许会有助于贵方产品的市场推介。

    I regret that your terms are unsatisfactory and unless you can amend those terms we shall have to place our order elsewhere.很抱歉,贵方的条件不能让人满意,如果不能改变条件的话,我方只好另转订单。

    4.希望对方能够接受你所提出的建议

    It is hoped that you would seriously take it into  consideration and let us have your reply very soon.希望贵方能认真考虑我方的建议并尽快回复。

    We hope you will consier our counter-offer most favorable ,and fax us acceptance at your early convenience.希望对方考虑我方的还盘,并尽快早发传真表示接受。

    常用短语总结

    下面附上一个模板,当客人觉得你价格太高的时候你可以如何回应:

    Dear xxx:

    I am sorry to learn from your letter of 5th Oct that you find our price too hight.

    We do our best to keep prices as low as possible without sacrificing quality and are constantly enquiring  into new methods of manufacture .

    Considering the quality of the goods offered ,we don't feel that the prices we quote are at all excessive,but bearing in mind the special character of your trade ,we have decided to offer you a special discount of 1.5% on a first order.

    We make this allowance because we should like to do business with you if possible,but I must stress that it 's the furthest we can go to help you.

    At least I hope this revised offer will now enable you to place an order .
