It rained by spell for almost whole day, Debra maintain herself reading in bed all the time, she felt such relaxing and enjoying with this pitter-patter sounds.
Day is short in December, though there isn’t real winter in this area, and the seasonal change still appears naturally. Darkness started falling, rain had stopped already, towards night the weather cleared up, sun already wend down, however, a slice of remains of dark red sunlight painted over the sky distantly, ‘surely, there is a charming fine evening followed’ , Debra thought.
A gentle wind starts, Debra felt a bit of chill, so she got up and closed half-opened window, she saw there were some Indian and Arabic ladies carried shopping bag walked in street, and cooking smell permeated on the air, “ it is a dinner time” , Debra told herself. She starts thinking whether to go to shopping or not. Usually she had weekly purchasing during the weekend for all what she needs for one week, but she dose feel lazy to drive to town center for shopping today. So she put on her long coat and went to a small grocery which just next to the building in the corner of street, to buy a little tomato and lettuce, only a simple and clear noodle soup that is she expected tonight.
She wants to finish her dinner before landlord couple back, as they share the kitchen, therefore, she usually does not cook during weekend...
