“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” Galatians6:9
The apostle Paul exhorted us that we must be patient to help the people to overcome the bumps and struggles of life. As he wrote that “Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfil the law of Christ.” Galatian6:2
Paul likened that helping others was that a farmer looked forward to his harvest. He must take time, make the effort and have the patience, so that he could gain the harvest. Our Christ Jesus encourages us to trust in Him today, and to be honest with others, to pray constantly, and not to give up.
Sometimes, doing good makes people discourage because it’s difficult to see the good results of doing good. It seems that it’s the most uneconomical to sacrifice oneself to do good. The view proves that we don’t put God into our hearts. Those who believe the Lord can never have the thought.
The world finally belongs to the Lord. He is the highest master of rewarding and punishing. In due season, every man must repay the Lord according to the sins. If we can open the eyes to look far away, we can know that in the world only people doing good is successful, but people with evil finally lead to failure. The experiences of the disciples and the history of human bear this out.
“Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.” Psalms 37:3
The Heaven and earth can be destroyed, but the truth cannot be destroyed. Praise God.
God, we praise you because you rule the world by using your righteousness and mercy. You are the Lord of rewarding the good and punishing the wicked. The Lord will repay them according the work.
As we know, God is not partial and searches the hearts. We desire the Lord can help us to do good without losing heart and happily wait for God’s judgement. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
“Trust in the Lord with your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and He will make straight your paths.”Proverbs 3:5-3:6
