译者按：俗话说，家里没个女人，就简直不成家。女性带来洁净、秩序、平和、欢乐。泰戈尔在《飞鸟集》中多次称颂女性的这种能力。一百多年过去了，女性的这种能力走出家庭，发挥着更大的作用，越来越多的女性，成为大型公司乃至政党、国家的领导人。正如歌德所说：伟大之女性，引导我们走。最后一句，让人想起的王维《山居秋暝》：竹喧归浣女，莲动下渔舟。明月松间照，清泉石上流。最后一句like a hills tream among its pebbles直接译作“如清泉石上流”亦无不可。
