The Great Wall, where wars were constantly fought   

In the past millennia, proudly stands tall

To inform the barbarian invasion

The watchtowers were lit up to cascade information

Look, the geese fly over the Tsin strongholds

The moonlight from the Han dynasty wakes up orioles

The bird's sad songs remind of the blood of the brave

The tears of the widows, and the coldness of graves

The old dynasties are nothing but a mirage

Hills and rivers remain a charming entourage

The river of time has eroded the walls

That once kept people from the barren north

By becoming one nation and one voice

Both sides have joined together to toil

To enjoy

Out of free choice

万里长城，千载兵争。却蛮胡、烽火传声。秦关飞雁，汉月啼莺。叹军中血，闺中怨，草中茔。

王朝似幻，山水如恒，任时光、风化墙崩。华夷一体，内外同盟。共苦时哀，甘时乐，醒时耕。
