注意动名词做宾语和不定式做宾语的区别

She couldn’t help laughing.她忍不住笑了。

在like,love, prefer,hate等词后面，不定式表示即将发生的事，而动名词表示一般情况。

I’d like to ask you a question./ I like travelling very much.

I hope you will keep from doing anything rash.

I devoted myself to helping the poor.

动名词在前和在后构成的名词eg: living room, weightlifting
