It is apparent that plants and animals are negatively influenced by human activities. However, when it comes to the issue, there are two different views. Some are pessimistic about the chances of solving the problem, while others assume that there are a number of possible remedies to this trouble. As for me, I strongly incline to the latter view.

In a world increasingly dominated by man, it is undeniable that human activities severely impact the living environment of species. For example, over-hunting, over-farming, and over-fishing not only deplete natural resources but also threaten the survival of wildlife on the land and in the sea. Therefore, some individuals hold that it is too late to take actions to protect plant and animal species due to the fact that  the world population is still increasing exponentially and the human activities accompanied by overpopulation grow correspondingly. Consequently, all living things are inevitably affected by human beings.

Nevertheless, I stand up for the point that effective measures can be taken to improve this situation. Firstly, a series of laws should be promulgated for protecting endangered species of flora and fauna. Secondly, national parks, nature reserves, and wilderness areas are also valuable habitats for plants and animals, which should be protected and preserved appropriately. Plants and animals often have restricted habitats, so the protection of habitats is of uppermost priority. Thirdly, people should be encouraged to participate in the protection of endangered species and the improvement of their living conditions.

All in all, although the prospect of mitigating the impact of human activities on plant and animal species is seemingly not optimistic, it's never too late to take effective measures to prevent the current situation from deteriorating.
