第二段：介绍具体景点
Beijing is a great oriental ancient city with a long history and profound cultural background. There are at least two scenic spots you need to have a look. First of all, the Great Wall, the most famous sight of China, is one of the wonders of the world. The Great Wall, the symbol of Chinese Civilization, is to China as/what (连词conj.，恰如，好像 ) the Pyramids is to Egypt. Just as a prevalent/popular old saying/proverb (谚语/格言 ) goes, "One who doesn't/fails to reach the Great Wall is not a true man". In addition, the Palace Museum, formerly known as the Forbidden City, is the biggest and best-preserved imperial museum and ancient architectural complex, which has gone through/experienced years of rotation and also witnessed the changes of dynasties.
北京是一座伟大的有些悠久历史和深厚文化底蕴的东方古城。这里至少有两个你需要去参观的景点。首先，最著名的观光地——万里长城是世界奇观之一。长城是中华民族文明的象征，它对于中国来说，就好像金字塔对于埃及。就像一句盛行的古谚语里提到，"不到长城非好汉"。此外，故宫，旧称为紫禁城，是全国最大的和保存最完好的帝王宫殿和古建筑群。它经历了岁月轮换，也见证了朝代变迁。
