第一段：图画描述
As is vividly depicted in the cartoon, a striker on the right is preparing to shoot the ball at the goal guarded/defended ( 把守 ) by a goalkeeper on the left. The attacker images that the goalkeeper is so tall and big that it is impossible to kick the ball into the goal, meanwhile, the defender also feel afraid and helpless for the sake of a small width compared to the goal.
正如漫画生动所示，一名前锋(图画右侧)正准备将球踢入由守门员(图画左侧)把守的球门。攻方想象着，守门员如此高大以至于不可能将球踢进球门；同时，守方由于自己相较于球门而言太过渺小，也感到了害怕和无助。
第二段：结合现实举例论证
Althrough two ideas seem to be completely opposite, they acturally illustrate the same problem——the deficiency of self-confidence. It is apparently that the painter aims to remind us of not neglecting the importance of self-confidence. Being confident plays at least two key roles in our lives, as follows. On the one hand, keeping confident consists not in being conceited, but estimating own abilities and evaluations of ourselves in an active way. If we are too aggorant, we will make many respectful and blind movements, and it will become more difficult for us to get along well with others. If we are too diffident, it will become hard for us to try new things, and we will fall into a bad cycling trap due to lacking of progress. On the other hand, with self–confidence, we will have more prower in face of all the obstructions and it will get easier to make big achievements in our learning or work. Just as Helen Keller once said, "for above the fate of the people, confidence is the master of life".
尽管两种想法看上去完全相反，但是实则说明了同样的问题——自信心的缺失。显然，画家旨在提醒我们不要忽视自信心的重要性。如下，自信在我们的生活中至少起到两个方面的关键作用。一方面，保持自信的意义不在于保持自负，而在于以一种积极的方式合理评估我们所自己拥有的能力和价值。如果我们过于自大，我们会做出很多无礼和盲目的举动，这会使得与他人相处变得很艰难；如果我们过于自卑，尝试新东西会变得艰难，由于缺乏进步，会掉入糟糕的循环陷阱。另一方面，拥有自信，使得我们在面对一切艰难险阻时，有更多的力量，也会更容易在学习或工作中取得大的成就。就像海伦凯勒曾经说过的那样，对于凌驾命运之上的人来说，信心是生命的主宰。
第三段: 总结归纳
Therefore, it is high time for us to deserve self-contempt, and contrarily, to embrace all sorts of difficulties in the life with a confident face. Only in this way, can we achieve our dreams and create a more sunny and happy future.
因此，是时候让我们抛弃自我轻视，以自信的面貌去拥抱生活的各种困难。只有这样，我们才能实现梦想，创造更加阳光、幸福的未来。
