形态变化与英汉语被动句

与汉语相比，英语喜欢用被动语态，科技英语尤其如此。在英语写作中使用被动语态可以使得文章注重客观事实，少了许多主观色彩；突出主要论证说明的对象，引人注目；句子结构更简洁明了。

下面是被动句：

（请分析并归类上面9个例句中的粗体部分）

（1）…men are expected to outnumber women by 24 million in a decade.

（2）If they are not so blessed, they may face marital failure.

（3）People are so focused on their career these days.

（4）In fact, Jiangsu's If You Are the One has been joined by other competing TV shows.

（5）In the West, marriageon the basis of romantic love has often been considered natural and sometimes ideal.

（6）After the new policies were announced, all of China's dating shows said they would comply.

（7）In spite of its emotional appeal, all romantic marriages cannot be called unqualified successes.

（8）In correct social and love values such as money worship should not be presented in the shows.

（9）In short, romance is a matter of a limited time and does not become rooted in actualities and must be regulated to conform to the needs of work and environment in order to bind the couple together in lasting devotion.

总体上来讲，英语被动句是有形态变化的，而汉语被动句弱于形态变化。因为受到汉语思维的影响，所以在英语写作中要特别注意这些被动句的形态变化。
