Good morning dear professors, I am glad to be here for this interview. My name is xxx. I am from HRBIN University of Commerce. My major is Economics. I am planning to pursue my master degree of Quantitative economics here.
I’m an optimistic person, warm-hearted, easy-going and rich in curiosity. I am energetic and enthusiastic. I am brave enough to meet the challenges and deadlines. The first reason why I choose Quantitative economics as my major is that I have profound interest in economics. I am curious about the problems of economy and I want to know how to solve these problems. Secondly, I have the good command of math. This will help me achieve higher in this field.
In addition, I also like study English, and have passed the Collage English Test Band 6 ,but I do think there’s still a long way to go, so I won’t give up my English study, and I’ll keep improving my oral and listening ability. Because of the love of the English, I participate in a English club in my undergraduate studies. And I have to get up early to read English. I have persevered it for three years, and then I have a big progress in my English. This experience teaches me to insist on the thing what you love if you want to make a breakthrough of yourself.
I do hope I could get the opportunity to finish my postgraduate courses in your university which I have desired for quite a long time. I am looking forward to your generous guidance and I will spare no effort to obtain a good command of economics.
