王家卫导演的电影My Blueberry Nights（《蓝莓之夜》）中，男主角和女主角之间有这样一段对话：
M:Those(The keys) blonged to a young couple a few years ago. They were naïve enough
to believe that they were gonna spend the rest of their lives together.
那是几年前一对年轻情侣的（钥匙）。他们竟天真地相信他们会共度余生。
W:Well, what happened?然后，怎么了？
M:Life happened. Things happened. Time happened.It’spretty much always the case more or less.
生活变迁,世事变迁，光阴变迁。几乎一切都不外如是。
W:Or maybe one of them ran off with someone else.
又或者他们中其中一个跟其他人跑了。
M:Maybe the feelings just went away.
也许只是没感觉了。
看到这里，你是不是不愿意相信这是爱情的另一种结局？人们喜欢看happy ending,喜欢说海枯石烂，天荒地老。但现实中，随着时间推移、感情转淡，很多情侣之间沦为无言的结局。平常人喜欢对此表示缄默，诗人却勇敢地将此写成诗篇。大诗人叶芝就在Adam’s Curse（《亚当的诅咒》）中诠释了类似的遗憾和无奈。我们一起来看看吧。
